It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pearl Harding announce her passing on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Corner Brook Long Term Care, at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 62 years Allan; children: Judy (Ralph) Payne, Bryant (Karen) Harding, Michele (James) Taylor, and Bradley (Tanya) Harding; grandchildren: Brent, Gregory (Alison Beaver), Jennifer (Sandy Turnbull), Jeffrey (Shelby Lewis), Andrew, Jessica, and Nathan; great grandchildren: Nicholas and Alex; sisters: Alma Pittman and Gladys Spracklin; brother in-law: Reuben (Mable) Harding, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Claude and Julia Payne; brothers Wilson and Wallace; sisters Violet and Meredith. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday, August 1st from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, August 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where Funeral Service will take place at the Chapel on Saturday, August 3rd at 3:30 p.m. with The Very Rev Catherine Short officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. The family would like to send a special thank you to her homecare worker Sherry Harding, and the staff at Corner Brook Long Term Care for your care and compassion of Pearl during her stay there. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
