Patricia 61 years young, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of August 24 in her home. She will be extremely missed by her husband of 35 years Grant, and her two boys Kyle and Tyson.
Patricia was born in Orange County, California to Leonard and Alice Nelson. In 1968 she immigrated to Winnipeg with her mother and sister. In 1979, she met Grant as the guy next door and on July 7, 1984 they were married. In 1991 they moved out of Winnipeg to the RM of Springfield onto an acreage to raise their two boys.
Pat was a stay at home mother and homemaker where she loved her flowers and to watch all the wildlife that came into the yard. Her unique sense of humour and compassionate nature will be missed by all.
Patricia is predeceased by her father Leonard Allan Nelson, mother Alice Broadbent, and sister Lorna Nelson. She is survived by her husband Grant and two sons Kyle and Tyson.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019 at the Prince Edward Legion, 300 Trent Avenue, Winnipeg from 12:00 – 4:00pm
