Obituary of Olga Ross
Ross, Olga (nee Zemnicky)
Olga passed away peacefully at The Village on the Thames, Chatham, ON, on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the age of 95.
Olga was born in Sirok, Hungary on May 28, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Alex and Helen (nee Pavienke) Zemnicky.
Beloved wife of the late Richard Ross (1987).
Dear mother of the late Kenneth (2008), James and Gary (Karen) Ross all of Chatham.
Sadly missed by grandchildren, Tracy (Rob), Allen, David (Janelle), Brian and Bill (Jessica).
Loving great grandmother of Alexandria, Nolan and Ashlynn.
Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and many friends.
Predeceased by her sister Helen Dewael (1988).
Olga enjoyed many bus trips over the years and playing euchre with her friends. She loved dancing at the Legion and being a member of the New St. Andrews Church in Dover Township.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held at McKinlay Funeral Home, on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 10 a.m., with Rev. John Anderson, officiating.
Interment will follow in Owen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Olga to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, New St. Andrews Church Memorial Fund, Dover Township or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
