Policha, Matthew Konstantine-87, of Yarmouth, passed away on July 25,2019 at his home in Yarmouth. Matthew was born on the family farm in North Battleford Saskatchewan, January 25,1932. In his early years Matthew moved to Edmonton where he would get his pilots licence and become a member of the Edmonton flying club. He loved to fly and was always ready to tell stories about his flying days. He would often talk about his trip to the Ukraine, the birthplace of his mother ,Staphna. Matt, along with his wife Ellen, moved to Yarmouth to assist the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, which he continued to do up until his passing. He was a dedicated member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. While in Yarmouth Matt along with his wife Ellen started their own Janitorial business, Gold Seal Services, cleaning for many different businesses around town. He is survived by his loving wife Ellen (Farris), sister Mary MacFarland; Several Nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Sweeny’s funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. As per Matthews wishes there will be no funeral service at this time. Donations in his memory may be made to Canadian branch of Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society.
