Obituary of Joseph “Jody” Joy
Joseph “Jody” Joy, age 47, passed away July 13, 2019. He was born Aug. 30, 1971.
Survived by his father Joe Joy(stepmom Molly Joy), his mother Ann Marie Perham, three sisters: Tina Joy (nieces Vanessa, Alyssa, and Mikalah) Tanya Joy (nephew Erik, nieces; Calista & Macey), and Ann Marie Joy (Niece Ashleyand nephew Dylan), His loving wife Joanne Joy (Conway) Stepson: Rian, stepson Michael McGrath and his grandson who was his best buddy Michael. He leaves behind a large circle of family and friends that will feel his loss forever.
Jody lived most of his life in Ontario, but NL was always his home. He built a cabin close to his hometown that he took so much pride in and shared this special place with the people that he loved. Jody was a man of his word who truly lived his life to the fullest. He was the life of the party and could fill a room with laughter and love.
Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home on Saturday August 17, 2019 from 3:00 – 7:00
