When Paul joined the Army in 1960, he moved to Quebec City, where he met his wife Pierrette St-Pierre. They were married on August 11th, 1962, they just celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. While Paul was serving he was a member of the Royal 22e Régiment and a guard at the Citadel in Quebec, as well, Paul did two tours of duty in Cyprus with the United Nations Peacekeepers. Paul encouraged helped and gave his time to everyone. Patient and kind he was always there when anything needed to be done or wherever he was needed. Paul always took pride in his work and the accomplishments of others. He knew the importance of just stopping to say hi. According to Paul “you should never take anything for granted, always try for a hole in one, do a job right, never take any wooden nickels and always say I love you!” Nous t’aimons beaucoup.
