Irene’s Obituary
Pauzé, Irene Anne – age 88, of Wedgeport passed away at her home on Thursday, August 29, 2019. Born June 5, 1931 in Wedgeport she was a daughter of the late John and Cecile Doucet. Irene was a homemaker and was very proud in raising her children and taking care of her husband John. When she wasn’t looking after them she enjoyed puzzles, reading books, and watching her soap operas. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years John, her sons; Alan Pauzé (Wendy), Greg Pauzé (Claudette), and Lionel Pauzé (Blanche), and her daughter Nicole (Ralph) Smith along with 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, and her brother Leonard Doucet. Aside from her parents she was predeceased by her sisters; Rita Lapointe and Berneice Theriault, brothers; Charles Doucet, Frank Doucet, and Charlie Doucet in enfancy. The family will be receiving friends from 10 a.m. leading up to the funeral mass which will be held on Wednesday, September 4, at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church in Wedgeport, with Father Albéni d’ Entrement officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation of Canada, or the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund.
