March 2, 1946 – August 25, 2019
Helen began her journey to the spirit world peacefully on August 25, with her loving family by her side.
She was predeceased by her parents Bob and Gladys Kay: sons Stanley Kay, Sternley Kay; siblings Alex, Hector, Margaret, Ida; adopted brother Casper.
Helen will be remembered and forever loved by her children Norm (Hertha), Adam (Venus), Reuben (Tegan), Viola (Carlin); daughter in law Lerenda Asapace; brother Warren Kay; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; adopted children Sandford Strongarm Sr., Lyndon Oochoo, Conrad Medicine-Rope and others.
Traditional Wake will be held on Wednesday August 28th, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Campus Gym, Kawacatoose First Nation. Funeral Service will be held the following day, Thursday, August 29th at 11:00 a.m. in the same location. Feast to follow internment.
