Peacefully, at Russell Meadows on Monday August 26, 2019, Fred Alexander of Osgoode in his 94th year. Loving husband of the late Vivian (Scharf). Dear father of Sandra Toll, Larry (Darlene) and Mark (Lynn). Cherished grandfather of Karen (Jeff Benson), Sharon Baldwin, Shawn Toll (Joanna), Tish (Rob Barbosa), Stacey (Fernando Medeiros), Krystal (Paul Kerluke), Kristina (Brad Luna), Paul, Matthew (Stephanie) and proud great-grandfather of 17. Dear brother of Mae (late Hugh Dolan). Loved and remembered by many nieces and nephews. Fred was a founding member of the West Osgoode Olde Tyme Music Club, a life member of the Gloucester Historical Society and an honorary member of the Osgoode Museum. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, (6971 Bank Street between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 6-9 pm on Thursday August 29. An Orange Lodge and Royal Black Service will be held at 9:30 am, Friday. Funeral to follow in the Chapel at 11 am. Inurnment Hawthorne Cemetery at a later date. Donations to Winchester and District Memorial Hospital or the Osgoode Care Centre would be appreciated.
