Elsie Hiebert Dueck

Elsie Margaret Dueck of Altona formerly of Schoenthal passed away Tuesday August 13th at the Altona Health Centre.
Elsie was born at her parents Abram P. And Mary Hiebert’s home on July 26, 1932 in New Hope.
She was married to Jacob F Dueck on August 19th, 1956. They moved to the farmyard northwest of Altona and raised a family of seven children.
Mom is predeceased by her husband Jake and son Gary. She is survived by her children Ron, Brian and his wife Donna, Jim and his wife Laurie, Joel and his wife Michelle, Pauline and her husband Glen, and Tom. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and their families.
Funeral services will be held August 19th at 2pm at the Altona Bergthaler Church with interment at the Altona Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Sunday, August 18, from 9:00 am to 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Eastview Place and the Altona Hospital for the loving and compassionate care Mom received.
