Scott, Elizabeth M. “Betty” – Age 86 of Middle Musquodoboit, passed away August 14, 2019 in Braeside Home for Special Care. Born in Springfield, Annapolis Co., she was a daughter of the late James and Amy (Sproule) Saunders.
Betty had been a member of Brookvale Ladies Aid, Middle Musquodoboit Enterprisers and Musquodoboit Valley Hospital Auxiliary. She loved farm life, particularly the animals that she was around.
Surviving are brother, Karl (Eileen); sister-in-law, Ruth Ryan; brother-in-law, Bill (Betty Lou) Scott; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Lorne; brothers, Eugene and William in infancy; sister-in-law, Carol Saunders.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Hillside Cemetery, Middle Musquodoboit, with student minister Calvin Burt officiating. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to Middleton United Church general fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
