Peacefully, at Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow on Tuesday, August 27th, 2019 in her 90th year. Eilean, loving wife of John for nearly 64 years. Beloved mother of Ron (Robin Fieldhouse), Paul (Mike Doig), and Marianne Ribey (Brad Johnston). Dear sister of Marg Reid, Marian Underwood, Lois Kerr, and Harvey Orr and sister-in-law of Vera Orr, Marj Monk, Phyllis Ribey, and Joyanna Willett. Eilean will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her parents Elton Orr and Susan Goodman Orr, brothers Bob and Howard Orr, and brothers and sisters-in-law Leonard Reid, Al Underwood, Bob Kerr, Mary Orr, Orville Monk, Jim Ribey, Don Ribey, and Charles and Helen Kelly.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 at 11:00am at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin. A memorial service and reception will follow at 1:00pm at the Bruce Township Community Centre, 1240 Concession 6, Tiverton.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society Grey Bruce or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
