The passing of Donna Marie Brewer of Cross Creek, NB, loving wife of the late Bliss Brewer occurred on Monday, August 26, 2019, surrounded by her family, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.
Born on January 30, 1932 in Greenhill, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mabel (Bavis) Flynn.
Donna was a School Teacher but devoted most of her life to raising her children and looking after her family. She was a longtime and active member of the Cross Creek Baptist Church. Donna played the piano and enjoyed music. She loved being outside, especially feeding the birds.
Donna had the gift of hospitality; there was always tea and sweets for anyone who came to visit her home.

Donna is survived by her son, Donald Brewer (Denise); daughters, Mary Woodcock (Terry), Joy Lomax, Sandra Emery (Chris) and Wendy Stewart (Guy); thirteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; brother, Carl Flynn (Lois).

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 4-8 pm.
The Funeral Service will take place at Cross Creek Baptist Church on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 2 pm with Pastor Gordon Mowry and Rev. Terry Woodcock officiating.
Interment will take place in Cross Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, with a reception to follow at the church.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Cross Creek Baptist Church or the Gideon Bible Plan.
