Obituary for
Damjan :Danny” Zegarac
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Damjan “Danny” Zegarac of Edmonton, AB, on August 13, 2019.
Those left to cherish Danny’s memory include his loving daughter, Natalie (Daniel); his granddaughter, Adalyn; Natalie’s mother Donna; and his dearest friend and companion in Edmonton, Lorna Claveau.
Reunited with his mother, Slovenia Eremic; step-father, Joco Eremic; grandparents, Daco and Milka Zegarac in the former Yugoslavia; his birth father, Vajo Zegarac who died during World War II; brother, Michael (Maureen); as well as his treasured cat, Rufus.
Lorna would like to personally thank the staff at Shepherd’s Care Vanguard for all they have done over the time he had spent there, she is forever grateful.
Many thanks to the Serbian White Eagles and the Down Hill Kickers Soccer Clubs and to those many friends and family who continuously showed their support.
To honour Danny’s memory, donations may be made the Alzheimer’s Society.
A Celebration of Danny’s Life will take place in Edmonton, AB at a later date.
