Taplin, Constance (Connie): (nee Fleming) January 20, 1922 – August 27, 2019. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom Connie Taplin (nee Fleming). She slipped quietly away on the morning of Tuesday, August 27, 2019. In her 98th year she was the last surviving member of the Fleming/Taplin clan. Her determination and resilience has been an inspiration to us all. She is predeceased by her husband Jack, and her parents: John and Elizabeth Fleming. Left with special memories are her daughters: Ann Marie, Betty Lu (Ronnie), Rosemary (John), Jeanette (Mike), and her sons: William & Walter (Heidi), 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grand children, nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives & friends. Special mention to her care giver Corrine Dohey for her endless sense of humor and the many games of cards. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Thursday from 7 pm – 9 pm and Friday from 2 pm – 4 pm and 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2019 following 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Interment will be in Holy Cross North Side Cemetery, Holyrood.
