August 3, 1950 – August 27, 2019
Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of his loving family on August 27, 2019, Bruce Mayne of Hopeall, aged 69 years.
Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Elizabeth Mayne; brother, Vincent; and sister, Sylvia Mercer.
Leaving to mourn and to celebrate his life are his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Marion; daughters, Sandra (Paul) and Lori (Curtis); grandchildren, Keegan, Megan, Ava, Ryan, Olivia, and Victoria; brother, Vern (Audrey); sisters, Florence (Wilf), Grace, Margaret (Victor), and Edna (Clarke); sister-in-law, Ella; good friends, Bob and Liz, Darrell and Mary, good friend, Larry; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Wednesday, August 28, 7:00 – 9:00 pm and Thursday, August 29, 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
Cremation to follow.
A service of celebration for Bruce’s life will be held on Saturday, August 31 at 2:00 pm from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, New Harbour with inurnment to follow at St. Augustine’s Anglican Cemetery, New Harbour.
Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations in Bruce’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
