Charles Wesley Dobbs
formerly of Arthur passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at the Wellington Terrace, Fergus on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Guyett) for 65 years. Dear father of Bill Dobbs of Kitchener, Louise Dobbs and Dave Schnurr of Guelph, Theresa and David McClennan of Guelph. Grandfather of Stacy and Bradey Cowan, William Dobbs and Dylan Dobbs; Jamie Dobbs, Dave Dobbs and Carey Schnurr; Andrew McClennan, Nicole McClennan and Mark McClennan. Great grandfather of Hudson, Bronwyn and Melanie. Brother-in-law of Frank Guyett and Bernard and Isabelle Guyett. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Rev. Diane Eurig will conduct the funeral service in the Arthur United Church on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Greenfield Cemetery.
