Cardwell, Helen Kathleen

Peacefully at home, on Tuesday, August 27th, 2019, in her 91st year. Loving mother of David (Lee) Cardwell, Lynn (Mike) Lewis and Donald (Marisa) Cardwell. Missed by her grandchildren: Karen (Nate) Brown, Kristin (Mark) Sheardown, Jenny Cardwell, Erin Lewis, Sarah Lewis and Cassie Cardwell; and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, John and Flossie Coakwell; her sister, Betty Ileen McClelland (1989); brother-in-law, John McClelland (2004); niece, Patty McClelland (2004) and granddaughter Christina Cardwell (2003). Helen was a member of Riverside United Church, London Newcomers’ Alumni and Kiwanis Seniors’ Centre. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 10:30 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Helen are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario or a charity of their choice.
