Betty (Elizabeth) Morrissey (nee Mason)
April 22, 1944 – August 17, 2019
Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, August 17, 2019 after a brief illness in the presence of her loving daughter Gail (Richard), sister Bernice (John), special niece Bernadette and her special friend Holly Parsons from Glenbrook Lodge. Betty Morrissey, aged 75 years. Predeceased by her parents James and Rachel Mason as well as many special family members throughout the years. Left with fond and loving memories daughter Gail (Richard); sisters Marie (Val), Bernice (John), Marion (Gerald), Linda (Vince), Maxine (Billy) and their families; special family friends Jose (Scott) Gillis and family. Special thanks to Dr. Jatin Morkar, nurses and staff on 4NA Health Sciences Centre for all their kindness and care given to Betty during her short time spent with them and as well to her Glenbrook Lodge family, Doctors, nurses, staff and residences; to her special roommate and friend Elizabeth Andrews for always taking care of each other; Long time companion Pat Clancey and family as well as other many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Interment to follow at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Southlands. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
