Predeceased by his parents George & Edith Willis and infant brother David. Survived by his siblings Pat Willis (Lily), Diane Chadbourn (Peter) and many nieces and nephews. Barrie loved and cherished his family, and he was happy to have passed his great sense of humour onto his children. His family will remember him as Everyone’s Handy Man, that Christmas was his favorite time of year, him working in his garden, shovelling the driveway and for eating Turtles (the chocolate). Visitation for Barrie will be held at the Omond Memorial United Church (319 McKenzie Ave, North Bay) on Thursday, September 5th from 9:30 am until time for a Memorial Service in the Sanctuary at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at the Terrace Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Memorial Fund of Omond Memorial United Church would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Martyn Funeral Home 705-472-8810.
