The death occurred at the Palliative Care unit of Community
Hospital, O’Leary, on Friday, August 23, 2019 of Barbara
Kathleen Skerry, of Ellerslie, aged 69, beloved wife of Alfred Skerry.
Barbara was born in North Enmore on July 18, 1950, daughter of the
late Harry & Ruby (Walfield) Harvey.
Cherished mother to Jason, North Enmore and Jodie (Corey)
Bridges, North Enmore.
Loving grandmother to Tyler Skerry, Cierra and Cassie-Lee
Bridges.
Dear sister to Keith (Nancy) Harvey, O’Leary,
sister in law to Marie Harvey (Kenny Lynch), Inverness and Sheila
(Clifford) MacDonald, Inverness.
Barbara was predeceased by her parents, brother
Lawrence, sister donna, brother in law Bruce and sisters in law
Frances and Ruby.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel
with visiting hours Sunday from 6-8 pm. Funeral service held in the
chapel on Monday at 11:00 am. Interment in the People’s
Cemetery, Victoria West.
