Annie Walsh

Annie Walsh
Sydney Mines
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we, the Walsh Family, announce the sudden passing of our dear cousin and second mother, Annie.
Born in North Sydney on March 19, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Jessie (MacEachern) Walsh.
From an early age, Annie was raised by her uncle and aunt, Llewlyan and Jeremina (Douglas) Walsh.
Annie was a kind and gentle soul who loved looking after her family. She was loved by all.
Annie is survived by Glenn and Brenda, at home, Llowan and Debie, Bras d’Or, Doug and Mary Lee, Sydney Mines, Kenny, Fort McMurray, Greg and Linda, Bedford, Gary and Dianne, Ottawa, also by numerous nieces and nephews.
Annie was predeceased by ‘Da’ Llewlyan Walsh and ‘Ma’ Jeremina Walsh, cousin Kyle Walsh, parents Jack and Jessie Walsh, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Her family would like to thank all those who cared for Annie, especially Home Care, Dr. Obadan, and her close friends Caroline Capstick, Nina Pentecost and Reet.
There will be no visitation. A celebration of Annie’s life will take place on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Sydney Mines, with Fr. Jim Oliver officiating. Donations in Annie’s memory may be made to Holy Family Parish Cemetery Fund. Words of comfort may be forwarded to her family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
