Loving father to Robert Geoffrey of North Vancouver, Gregory Mark and his wife Mig of Burlington, Susan Doraine and her husband Steven Chambers of Oakville and Ellen Lorene and her partner Bob McNeil of Bala. Beloved brother of Irvine Charles (deceased) and his sister Margaret Kerr of Fredericton, NB.
Beloved grandfather of Trayner and Michelle Alexander of Los Angles, CA, Alicia and Christopher Damon of Pacific Palisides, CA, Tristan Alexander of Sooke, BC, Kelly Chambers of Winnipeg, Michael Chambers of Toronto and Jennifer Chambers of Oakville. Great Grandfather to Willow Damon
Bob was a veteran pilot of the WWII Canadian Airforce. After the war, he became a Stock Trader on the Toronto Stock Exchange, a profession continued through retirement.
Bob would not have been able to stay in his house cooking and baking as long as he did without the aid of Veterans Affairs Canada. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 424 Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
A private internment will occur on July 13th, 2019 at 11:00 am. A gathering to celebrate the life of Bob will follow at 1:00 pm at 2921 Muskoka Road 169 (Ellen & Bob’s) if you would like to attend.
