Francess “Fran” Peterson
1944-2019
The death of Francess “Fran” Peterson occurred Sunday July
28, 2019 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Born October 29, 1944 in
Toronto, Ontario. She was the daughter of the late Richard and
Lillian (Whiteley) Smith. She was also predeceased by step son Gilbert
Lutwick.
Fran is survived by her husband William Wortman; 4 children, Kim
Silke, Jenny Conwell (Barry), Dawn Peterson and Neil Peterson
(Comboy); 3 step children, Sylvia Walker, Nancy Lennon and Doug
Wortman; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren as well as extended
family and friends.
Fran was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Keeping to Fran’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral
services. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be
