Colleen Linda Jacob Holley December 25 1949 July 13 2019 (age 69)

Colleen passed away July 13 with her family by her side after a long fight with pancreatic cancer. Born December 25, 1949 to Karl and Mary Jacob in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan, Colleen was the 7th of 10 children. She worked in Regina for a few years before she moved to Thompson with her new spouse and daughter: Wayne and Arren Holley. After 5 years, they moved to Lacombe, Alberta in 1978. Colleen retired from the Post Office after 35 dedicated years.
Colleen is survived by her daughter Arren, husband Lance and grandchildren Madeleine and Jakob; her sisters Lil, Anne (Jim), Florence (Vince), Marge, Berny (Bob), Marty (Brian), Ruth (Eugene), Sisters-in -Law: Mary, Helen, Audrey; Brothers-in-law: Bruce, Lloyd, Rick, Marvin; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband Wayne, parents Karl and Mary, Sisters: Dorothy, Joyce; Brothers: Chris, Karl and wife Christine, brothers-in-law Chris, John, Ed; Sister-in-law: Marge.
Colleen was dedicated to her family, and her life primarily revolved around them. In that she took great pride in hospitality and sharing. One had to be careful entering their house as it was often full with Arren’s friends or her siblings and in-laws sleeping everywhere. Later in life she became much more active outside the home in golfing – taking pride in 2 hole in one trophies, fishing, curling and dabbling in art and quilting. Colleen was seldom without a beloved dog(s) the last 2 Maggie and Buffy.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Colleen Linda Jacob Holley December 25 1949 July 13 2019 (age 69)..
