With heavy hearts we announce the passing of beloved husband, father, grandfather on July 27, 2019, at the age of 72, with his family at his bedside.
Survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Joginder. Sons Valbinder, Navdeep, daughters Dabinder(Tom), Gurdeesh and the lovesof his life his 5 grandchildren Ryan, Matthew, Sean, Therahn and Amareesya.
Born in Haveli, India to late Harbhajan Singh and late Amar Kaur. He was the second of his 8 siblings to arrive in Canada in 1967, at the age of 21. He worked in Golden, BC as a sawmill worker in 1968. Settled in Ladysmith in 1969, where he worked at Western Forest Products formerly known as Domans for 42 years.
Ajit will be remembered for his selfless, kind, gentle soul that will forever live in our hearts by his family, extended family and friends.
We would like to thank the many nurses and Dr’s of the Royal Jubilee Hospital 4 South floor for their wonderful care. A special thank you to Dr. Coughlin and Dr. Sulpher, and all the caring staff at the Victoria Cancer Clinic.
In Lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Agency in Ajit’s name would be appreciated.
