Obituary of Ronald Orr
In hospital, Shawville Quebec, on March 19, 2019 surrounded by family, Ronald Orr passed away at the age of 69 years. He was the beloved husband of June Orr (McCoshen). Son of the late Howard Orr and Bertha Doherty. Loving father of Lisa, Sheri (Paul Larue), Neil (Cathy Meilleur) and predeceased by infant son Brian. Adored grandfather of Cole, Carter, Ashley, Curtis, Breanna, step grandson Jordan, Nathan , Hunter and Bella. Cherished brother of Lorna (late Eric Ranger), Gail (Tom Howard and the late Carl Tubman) and predeceased by sister Beverly (Rob Campbell). Ronnie always took pride in his work at Bristol Council for 19 years, his family and his many friends. He always loved having a chat and playing tunes on the guitar. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews that he held dearly. He will also be missed by cousins, many in laws and special friends who were there for him when needed (you know who you are). The family would like to thank the nursing staff and doctors for the excellent care given to Ronald Orr at Shawville Hospital. Thank you also everyone for your cards, comments, and just for caring. It is very much appreciated. A service will be held in Bristol Ridge Pentecostal Church, 53 Chemin Eighth Line, Bristol, Quebec, on Satudray, April 27 at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow at the Jack Graham Community Centre, 32 Chemin d’Aylmer, Bristol, Quebec. Interment to be held in Maple Grove Cemetery on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. Donations to the Ponticac Community Hospital Foundation and the Bristol Ridge Pentecostal Church would be appreciated.
