Maria Carmo Ferreira

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Maria Carmo Ferreira, surrounded by family on June 26, 2019 in her 63rd year. Beloved wife of Joe. Proud mother of Joey (Sandy) and Leslie (Jimmy). Will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Alyssa, Dontae, Justyn. Survived by her mother Maria Hortense Adriao and cherished daughter of the late Jose Adriao. Dear sister of Carlos Adriao (Tracey). Loving daughter-in-law to Irene Ferreira and the late Jose Ferreira and sister-in-law of Luis Ferreira (Fil), Linda Felipe (Aurelio). Will also be deeply missedby many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews as well as extended family here in Canada, US and Portugal. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL (43 Barton Street East, Hamilton) on Friday, June 28 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Vigil prayers will beginat 7:30 p.m. Funeral mass will take place at All Souls Church (19 Barton Street West, Hamilton), on Saturday, June 29, at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, the Ferreira family would appreciate a donation be made for a memorial plaque to be purchased in Maria’s honor.
