Commanda, Lydia Muriel (McLeod) peacefully at Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Percy Commanda. Loving mother of George (late Darlene), Gail (Gerry) Caron, Sally (late Henry) Towns, Lloyd (Susan), Bonnie (Vince) Commanda, Leslie, and the late Ashley. Dearly loved Grandma of 15 Grandchildren 16 Great-Grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Lila Legault and Alma Piercé. Predeceased by her sisters Nellie and Ida, as well as her brothers Sonny, Cecil and Calvin.
Professional services have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville with visitation being held at Mawka Centre, on Tuesday, from noon-9pm. Funeral service will take place at Makwa Center, on Wednesday, June 26th, 2019 at 11:00 am followed by interment Nativity of Our Lady Cemetery.
