Williams, Kenneth Lloyd – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Lloyd Williams, age 80, of Shubenacadie, on June 26, 2019 in The Mira, Truro. Born in Shubenacadie, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Mae (Stoddart) Williams.
Ken was a very well-known electrician and was a member of IBEW for 50 years. Besides his love for his family and work, he loved old-time dances and could dance like a pro doing a polka or round waltz. Ken was a past Master Mason of Lodge No. 98, Stewiacke.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beulah; step-children, Shelly (Scott), Mike (Melissa), Trish; “special” step-granddaughter, Christina; five step-grandsons, one great step-grandson. He is also survived by brother, Ralph (Marion); twin brother, Keith (Helen); many nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by brothers, Dale and Ron.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. By request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private interment will be held at a later date.
