Gertrude Evelyn Lutz Hoffman-Sabo 2019

Gertrude Evelyn Hoffman-Sabo passed away at the age of 85, on Saturday, May 18,2019.
She was a resident of Edmonton, Alberta. After a wonderful, long life that saw many joys and sorrows, her Lord called her home.
Gertrude was born in 1934 in Holden, Alberta, to Reinhold and Hildegard Lutz. She was full of vibrant energy and had a zest for life. She cared deeply for the people in her life. Those fortunate enough to have known her in this way truly have been impacted by her. Gertrude carried herself with the Lord in her heart
and in the ways she served others. She was passionate with everything. Gertrude was deeply connected to her siblings, children, and grandchildren, and delighted in knowing
she had great-grandchildren, and being a part of their lives.
Gertrude enjoyed 51 years of marriage to Erwin Hoffman.
She found a deep and loving friendship and marriage with Andrew Sabo for almost 6 years before his passing in 2015. They travelled, spent their winters in warmer climates,
and created some great memories of their life together.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, three sons, Dwayne (Sandra), Garth (Michele), and Darryl (Janice); nine grandchildren, Kenneth (Kristin), Jared, Daniel, Eric (Ashley), Riley (Aiofe), James (Lauren), Kally, Andrew, and Jake; 8 great-grandchildren,Maya, Madax, Rachel, Desiree, Lillian, Madison, Noah, and Finn; sister, Alice (Eugene); brothers, Walter (Jeanie), and Ben (Betty); as well as many cherished nieces, nephews and good friends.
Gertrude was predeceased by her first husband, Erwin Hoffman; second husband, Andrew Sabo; daughter, Diane; and parents, Reinhold and Hildegard Lutz.
