Obituary of Eileen Mara Malpass
Eileen Mara Malpass (nee: Boyce)
Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, on Sunday, June 2, 2019, with her loving family by her side, Eileen Malpass of Lambeth in her 87th year. Eileen was born in London, Ont. on March 22, 1933. She loved life and never missed an opportunity to spend time with family and friends. Eileen was an elementary school teacher with the London Board of Education and the Middle County Board of Education. She was a life-long member of the United Church of Canada. Eileen was an avid and competitive lawn bowler for over 50 years and was involved in various other sports throughout her life. Eileen was a hospital volunteer and a member of the I.O.D.E.
Beloved wife for 62 years of Robert Malpass. Loving mother of Jeff and Debbie Malpass and the late Jamie Malpass (2018). Loved by her daughter-in-law Claudia Malpass. Proud grandmother of Tory Malpass, Becca Malpass and Aidan Malpass. Dear sister-in-law of Marjorie Boyce. Predeceased by her brother Clarke Boyce (2005).
Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, Lambeth (519) 652-2020 on Friday, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The celebration of Eileen’s life will be held at the Lambeth United Church, 4268 Colonel Talbot Road, London, ON N6P 1A2 on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Matthew Penny officiating. Cremation with a private interment Dorchester-Union Cemetery at a later date. Donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 485 Windermere Road, London, ON N5X 2T1 or the Lambeth United Church gratefully acknowledged. On-line condolences are available through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.
