Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday June 24, 2019. David, retired launch manager from GM, in his 75th year. David loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting, and was a member of the Haliburton County Marksman Club. David was a member of the Bobcaygeon Legion and Kinsman Club and devoted much of his spare time to coaching baseball and hockey. Beloved husband of Jo-Ann Jarvis (nee. Hall). Loving father of Gregory Jarvis and Matthew Jarvis (Nicole Cochrane). Dear grandfather of Sarah Jarvis. Survived by his brother Erle Jarvis (Lorraine) and sister Susan Moynes (Cliff). Fondly remembered by George (Ida), Allie and Ashley Sommerville and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George and Anne Jarvis (Tyrrell) and sister Vicky Sommerville (the late Glenn). Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #239, Bobcaygeon on Sunday July 14, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00PM.
