Danielle Veen January 26 1989 June 14 2019

Our family and friends were immensely blessed by our beautiful Danielle. She could love like no other and light up even the dullest days with her hugs and giving nature. We her family are devastated by her sudden passing, but take comfort in the many blessings that she has bestowed on us and many others in her short 30 years. She taught us that we are all different, but not different at all. She was an avid bowler and skier, and a ceaseless word searcher. A Special Olympian who never let Down Syndrome hold her back. She was and is the ultimate contributor to the lives of others. Cherished daughter of Arnold and Grace Veen, beloved big sissy to Matthew (Madison) and Lauren, loved granddaughter of Ellen Veen (Ralph, deceased), John and Jean Snaak (deceased). Beloved niece of Gerald and Marjory Veen, John and Julia Vyver, Don and Wendy Holzer, Bill (Tracy) Snaak and supportive cousins. Friend to everyone she met. Danielle’s ultimate love of life will live on through her Gift of Life donations throughout Canada and the U.S.A. Friends and family will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie (just north of Cundles Road) on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 12 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 1 o’clock. A reception will follow. Memorial donations to the Simcoe Sojourners Supported Housing Community through the following link www.gofundme.com/f/in-memory-of-danielle-veen would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family through adamsfuneralhome.ca
