Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, on June 22, 2019, at age 91, Anne (Anastasia) Greene (née Moore), of St. John’s, originally from Turks Cove, Trinity Bay. Predeceased by husband Pat; parents James and Helena Moore; cherished brothers and sisters Jerome, Paul, Mary (Gerry McCarthy), Mena (Jack Hearty), Bride (Bill Ricketts); parents-in-law Robert and Ellen Greene; brother-in-law Robert Greene; sisters-in-law Liz Moore, Mary Villaloboz, Barb Malone, Madge Dunne. Leaving to mourn son Paul and daughter-in-law Donna Elaine Brenton, and daughter Patricia; sisters Marg Melanson, Kitty Brennan (Dom), Clare Martin; brother Ted; and sister-in-law Mary Greene. Also leaving her nieces, nephews, other family members, and her many friends. At her request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday, June 25, from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held from St. Teresa’s Church on Wednesday, June 26, at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers graciously accepted, or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
