Roy “Lyle” Allen Whitlock
July 20, 1937 – May 10, 2019

The passing of Roy “Lyle” Allen Whitlock, husband of Norma Whitlock, occurred on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 20, 1937 in Fredericton, NB he was the son of the late Roy and Mary (Estey) Whitlock. Lyle was a Truck Driver by trade, he was also a member of the Nashwaak Valley Fire Department and worked several different jobs in the woods. He was a determined man who turned his life over to the Lord. His faith was strong, he has gone home.

In addition to his wife, Lyle is survived by his sons, Arden Whitlock (Nettie) and Tim Whitlock (Tracy); grandchildren, Bradley (Melissa), Jordan (Jenn), Mitchell, Jenna and Zachary. He was lovingly known as Candy Grampy to his great grandchildren, Noah, Jaxon, and Madelynn. He is also survived by his sister, Sharon McCoy (Paul); nephews, Jeff, Billy and Andrew; and niece, Misty.
Visitation will take place at Victory Tabernacle, 8 Independence St, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 12 to 2 pm. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 2 pm with Rev. Weldon Mutch officiating. Interment will take place at the Lower Durham Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Lower Durham Cemetery or the Canadian Cancer Society.
