Obituary of MICHAEL JOHN STANTON
Michael John Stanton
September 22, 1941-May 10, 2019.
It is with great sadness we announce the death of Michael John on Friday May 10, 2019 at St Boniface Hospital at the age of 77 years. Remaining to forever cherish John’s memory is his girlfriend Cheryl Jones and his many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Michael John and Mirtle Stanton; wife Geraldine Stanton; Brother George Stanton; sister Lorraine Stanton; and his many friends in the sober community. John had 36 years of contented sobriety. He was a very kind, very caring, very respectable, very loyal friend to all those who knew him. He will be cherished and greatly missed in many hearts.
A service of remembrance, in honor of John will be held Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 1230 pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 1442 Main Street, Wpg, MB.
His friends would like to thank all those who knew him to consider themselves honorary pallbearers.
A special thank you to St. Boniface Hospital and the Accessibility Living Housing community for their dedication and kindness.
