Life Story for
Mary Konkal
KONKAL, Mary- Peacefully, with family by her side on May 23rd, 2019 at the age of 93. She will be sorely missed by her daughter Margaret and sons Raymond (Diane) and Edward (Denise). Proud grandmother of Mark, Noel, Luke, Loni (Dan), Cindy (Rob) and Trena (Dan). Great grandmother of Kyle, Christy, Elsa, Emmett, Ezri, Brandyn, Courtney, Kayla (Robert), Cody and Gavin and one great great grandchild enroute! Survived by her sisters Adele Chernipeski (Alex) and Pauline Fidek (Mike), and brother Mike Hadubiak (Stella).
Predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Frank (2003), her parents John and Ann Hadubiak, daughter Elaine Hughes (2018), son-in-law Gerard Hughes (2011) and brother Bill Hadubiak (2005). Special thanks to all of the doctors and nurses at Milton District Hospital S3 Pod 200 for their excellent care during this difficult time.
Mary is resting at Morgan Funeral Home, 415 Regent Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake where her family will receive friends on Sunday, May 26th from 2-4 pm. Vigil will be held at the funeral home at 3:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Vincent de Paul Church on Monday morning, May 27th at 11 o’clock. Interment with Rite of Committal will follow in the church cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
