DUDGEON, June
Of Southampton, Ontario passed away peacefully May 29th, 2019 at the age of 68 surrounded by family and friends after a long courageous battle with cancer. She will be forever missed and always remembered by her loving husband of 46 years, Bill Dudgeon and their children, Bill Dudgeon Jr. (Sherilyn), Drew Dudgeon (Liz), Dawn Moncur (Chris) and Erin England (Brad), and by her grandchildren Caden, Will, Brynn, Ellandra, Abby and Violet and by her Mother in-law Gwen Dudgeon. June was one of eight children born to the late Elgin and Florence Cassel and is survived by her siblings Jane Dietrich (Jerry), Karen Kieswetter (the late Jim), Kathy Kieswetter (Dennis), Gail Kieswetter (Ken), Christine Paul (Ken), Kim Preikschas (Dennis) and Tony Cassel. At June’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Monday June 3, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass to celebrate the life of June Dudgeon will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, Southampton on Tuesday at 12 noon. A time of reception will follow at the Lakeshore Recreation Centre, Port Elgin from 2-5 p.m. with words of remembrance at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre for Inflammatory Breast Cancer Research or Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation for CT scan fund would be greatly appreciated.
