Scharlach, Jean (nee Schmidt)
Passed away with family by her side at St. Mary’s General Hospital on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Reg Sr. (2010). Loving mother of Reg, Rhonda and the late Randy (1997). Dear grandmother of Larissa and Christine. Predeceased by her 3 sisters. Sadly missed by her loving companions Elton, Griffen and Jenni and predeceased by Tasha. Thanks to the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and our close friends for all of your support.
Jean’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2019 and from 12-12:45 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the chapel on Monday at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Golden Rescue (a charity for the adoption and care of golden retrievers) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
