Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the age of 63. Son of the late Dave (Jan) and Marg Penlington. Dear brother of Barb (late Tom), Arlene, Peter (Sharon) and the late David Jr. Ping will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. In the spirit of his giving, Ping continues to live on through his organ donations. Private cremation arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467. A Celebration of Ping’s Life will be held at the Ayr Fire Hall, 501 Scott St., Ayr, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. on Sunday June 2, 2019. Memories of Ping will be shared at 1 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Portraits of Honour Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home, at the Fire Hall during the celebration or online through www.portraitsof honour.ca).
