We are sad to announce the passing of Ellen Pohl on Monday, May 20, 2019 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 82 years.
Ellen was born June 18, 1936 at Daysland, Alberta and resided in numerous communities including Camrose, Sherwood Park, Ponoka and finally Calgary.
Ellen will be dearly missed by her sons Ken Pohl of Edmonton and Bruce (Karen) Pohl of Okotoks; and grandchildren Whitney and Evan Pohl of Okotoks. Ellen will also be missed by her brother Gordon (Corrine) Stratmoen of Camrose.

Ellen’s passion was looking after young children and having her family near her at all times. She was always her happiest when family members came to visit or when she was able to travel to families homes. She will be dearly missed by us all.
A celebration of life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ponoka, AB (5501 – 54 Ave) Wednesday, May 29 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the C.N.I.B. (www.cnib.ca) or the Cancer Foundation (www.cancer.ca).
