Elenor “Ann” Schoenhoff of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Fred Schoenhoff, passed away on Saturday, May 11th, 2019 at the age of 85 years. Ann leaves to cherish her memory her daughter-in-law, Karen Finley; two brothers, Robert and Ralph; four sisters, Heather, Carol, Nona, Helen and their families. Elenor was predeceased by her husband, Fred; her son, Lynn Hicks; her parents, Martin and Mae Martinson; and one sister, Dorothy. Ann was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba on April 20th, 1934. She loved all things gardening and was often found in her greenhouse or taking photos of her flowers. Ann also enjoyed sweets, especially chocolate and was an avid baker. She also went on several bus tours with her trusty camera in tow and meet several people that she later kept in contact with. Ann was an attentive Grandma and loved cooking family meals. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and will be missed dearly. A Private Family Graveside Service will take place at a later date in Red Deer, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Elenor’s memory may be made to River Ridge Seniors Village, 4 River Ridge Drive NW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 8V1.
