READ, Mary “Electa” Pauline (nee Mailloux)
Peacefully at Bluewater Health with her family by her side on Friday, May 10, 2019 in her 68th year, Electa Read of Port Franks. Beloved wife of the late James Read (2002), and best friend of Dave Haycock. Loving and devoted mother of Shawn (Tracy) Dickey, and step-mother to Amy (Steeve) Tremblay, and Amanda Hixson. Cherished grandma to McKenna, Justine and Brett Dickey, Tori Tremblay and Scott Hixson. Predeceased by parents Joseph Mailloux (1989) and Catherine Mailloux (nee Benoit) (1999). Survived by siblings Robert (Lucille) Mailloux, Kenneth (Shirley) Mailloux, Geraldine (Gerald) Comartin, Ron (Kit) Mailloux and Larry (Jeanne) Mailloux. Dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews and will be sadly missed by many friends.
Family and friends will be received at Gilpin Funeral Chapel in Forest on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. Service will be on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 11:00 am with Rev. Dr. Christine O’Reilly officiating. Reception immediately following at The Legacy Centre in Thedford. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery in London for close friends and family following the reception.
