Eddy “Edward” Aubie
1935-2019
It is with much sadness that we the
family, announce the death of Joseph Eddy “Edward” Aubie,
husband of the late Veronica (Timmins) Aubie, who passed away on
Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, at the age of
83, after a brief illness.
Born in Belledune River, NB he was the
son of the late Rosario and Mathilda (Charest)
Aubie.
He is survived by two daughters: Denise
(late Neil) Alexander of North Tetagouche and Sue Aubie of
Nepisiguit Falls.
Beloved grandchildren: Jason Poirier,
Jessica Landry, Amy Alexander, and Dakota Johnson.
Two brothers: Clifford (Irene) of
Kitchener, ON, and Clarence (Margot) of
Bathurst.
One sister: Catherine (late Claude)
Saunders of Pembrooke, ON.
Several nieces and
nephews.
He retired after 47 years of dedication
to his work as a sales representative for Bowman Distribution where
his quiet, kind presence was known by many industrial and commercial
business owners.
He was pre-deceased by four brothers:
his identical twin brother Emery, Valmond, Raymond, Yvon and one
sister Jeannette Morrison.
There will be no visitation at the
funeral home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May
31st, 2019 at 3 p.m. from Elhatton’s
Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com),
Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Eddy may be made
to charity of the donor’s
choice.
The family wishes to thank Dr.
Thibeault, Dr. Eddie, Dr. Nadeau and the staff at the Chaleur Regional
Hospital for their excellent
care.
