Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto on April 13, 2019 at the age of 90. Beloved and cherished husband of Nancy D Buehler (DuBois). He will be sadly missed by his sisters Victoria Smith (late Douglas), Gisela Danielson (Roderick), predeceased by his siblings Ursula, Irmgard, Martin (late Hazel), Herbert (Judy) and his parents Reverend Eugene Buehler and Anna Maria Buehler. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Eb was born in Thalberg, Manitoba. He became a member of the Canadian Naval Reserve and attended the University of Saskatchewan. He worked for IBM in New York City and Milan, Italy. He also had an opportunity to teach overseas in Beijing, China. He retired in Chapel Hill, North Carolina before moving back to Canada settling in Toronto. He was a wine enthusiast with an extensive book collection, he had a love of classical music and a passion for learning languages. We would like to thank the staff and nurses at Mount Sinai 14S and 10S for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place through Cardinal Funeral Homes, Bathurst Chapel, in Toronto. A private family celebration of life will take place in the summer.
