It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dante Galli in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Imelda for 60 years. Proud and much loved father of Elisa (Philip), Agostino (Sandra), Sandro (Lise) and Antonio. Devoted and loving Nonno of Erica (Antonio), Lucas, Marcel (Meagen), Alexander, Alyssa, Nicholas, Emma and Bisnonno of Angela. Cherished son of the late Agostino and the late Elisa. Dear brother of Ezio (Rosemarie), Beatrice, Anna (Eraldo), and predeceased by his brothers Osvaldo and Basilio (survived by Sylvia). Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Italy, Canada, and the United States.
Dante was born in Roccamorice, PE and came to Canada in 1956. He loved his music, wine and spending time with his family, especially his precious grandchildren. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Ward E2 at Juravinski Hospital for their care and compassion.
Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of All Souls Parish, 21 Barton Street West, Hamilton on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
