Colin passed peacefully on the morning of May 12th in his 92nd year. Born in London, Colin, and his bride Angela Mary Moenich Smith (d.1986), immigrated to Canada in 1953 settling in Toronto and moving to Orangeville in spring 1961. He leaves children, Susan (James) of Picton, Anne (Barry) of Grand Valley and Trevor of Ocean Falls, BC., grandchildren, Cassandra, Katie, Sarah, Simon, and Jessica, along with great-grandchildren, Kayda, Peyton, Colin, Aiden, Mason and Lucy, who are left with a hole that only Old G’ dadman could fill. Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to Toronto Western Hospital Foundation:
Leukemia Research or the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
A tree will be planted in memory of Colin in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
