Clayton Patrick Carroll
It is with saddened hearts the family of Clayton Patrick Carroll of Fredericton, NB, formerly of Miramichi (Douglastown), NB, announce his passing on Sunday, May 26th, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB, at the age of 70.
Born in Miramichi, NB, on March 12th, 1949, he was the son of the late Edmund and Margaret (Innes) Carroll.
Clayton is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Connie (DeWolfe) Carroll, his daughter, Allison, son Bobby, step-daughter Chris, grandchildren Robbie, Riley and Sadie.
Also survived by sisters Joyce Gordon of Nackawic, NB, Lucy Smith (Trevor) of Delta, BC, brothers Fred (Edith) of Fredericton, NB and Keith (Judy) of Miramichi, NB, sister in law Marjorie Carroll of Miramichi, NB, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Robert, Donald, John, infant brother David and infant sister, Shirley, brother in law, Gerald Gordon.
Clayton was retired from the Construction Labourer Union and drove taxi for many years in Miramichi and in Fredericton.
He had an avid interest in Hockey, Golf and Cars.
Following cremation there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Samuel’s Roman Catholic Church in Miramichi (Douglastown) on Friday, May 31st, 2019 at 2 PM followed by a reception in the Saint Samuel’s Roman Catholic Church Hall.
Burial will follow in Saint Samuel’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
