Christina Morin
1924-2019
It is with heavy hearts that we
announce the passing of Christina Wilhelmina Morin (nee Heins), on
Sunday, May 26, at Thomas Hall, at the age of 94.
Christina was born in Amsterdam on August 21, 1924. She
lived in the Netherlands until she immigrated to Canada as a war bride
in 1946, where she married and raised two children.
Christina was predeceased by her husband, Louis
Morin.
Christina is survived by her daughter, Louise Moore (Morin)
and husband, Guy Moore (predeceased); her son, Raymond Morin and wife
Jan Kaye; Granddaughter, Amanda Morin Hoyt and husband, Jonathon Hoyt,
and granddaughter, Natalie Moore and partner, Nathan Miller;
Great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Christina Hoyt.
The family will be having a private memorial, to be
determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation
to the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital foundation would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank the staff at Thomas Hall, Shannex for
all their care and support.
